I enjoyed this book VERY much since I do search and rescue but THIS IS NOT A TRAINING BOOK but a true story of a woman and her two dogs. if you are looking for a training book I would suggest the the book by Susan Bulanda called "Ready, the training of a search and rescue dog" it is a very good book. I used it to train my current SAR dog. Happy Searching!!!
I loved this book, it is all based on a true story of one woman and her dogs. I have the pleasure of knowing Beth personally and know what a great personal sacrifice she has done, by training and being involved in SAR work most of her life.
Most of us can not even imagine what it is like to crawl through dangerous places and come across the results of Nature and Human disasters. I love the fact that this book has been written to tell the story on most of the SAR handlers around the world
