Another standing ovation for Marianne's skills at storytelling!
Since Book One of The Wilde Series, I have become a huge fan of Marianne. And my god, she's done it again in this book.
"Then Came You" is the story of a modern-day Cinderella, Thyme Wilde, the youngest Wilde Sister, the "filler", the girl who didn't have a clear future until she became a nanny to a suddenly orphaned child, Maddie--who, by the way, will steal your hearts with her promises of kisses. And what fairy tale isn't complete without a Prince Charming? Grayson Montgomery is one suave gentleman, but do not be fooled by the air of confidence he displays. For years, Grayson has been his maternal grandmother's puppet, until he meets sweet, sexy, curvalicious Thyme.
Marianne has once again managed to make my heart squeeze in this second book of the series, and I certainly cannot wait until the third book comes out!

Thyme is everything you wish you could be - she's honest, upfront and wears her heart on her sleeve even when she's determined not to. And she's strong. Her determination not to do the wrong thing and put Maddie first no matter how much she wants Grayson is endearing.
And Grayson isn't making it easy. He's charming, sweet and laying his world at Thyme's feet. There's nothing he wouldn't give up to make his daughter, even one he never knew he had happy and the woman who inadvertently captured his heart.
But Thyme is just the Nanny and Grayson has a lifetime of expectations and rules he's supposed to follow and his hearts desires doesn't come into that...
Marianne does a brilliant job of making you believe that love can conquer all and that unconditional love between and parent and child is instant, no matter the circumstances.... A five star read!
Then Came You is the second book of the Wilde Sisters series and the author nailed it.
The first line of the book grabs your attention right away. “Nothing good ever came from an attorney’s summons.” So true, and yet what Grayson Montgomery finds is something he’s yearned for all his life.
The story follows the relationship between Thyme Wilde and Grayson Montgomery. Each one of them has issues with their families and their immediate attraction to each other is well documented by the author in dual POV. Sexual tension is high in the story and well-written and, while the actual love scenes are hot, they are not detailed and drawn out…instead, they entice to reader to keep reading…always wanting more.
The plot line is well-thought out and the reader can easily sympathize with Thyme when things don’t go as planned. You can easily imagine yourself in her shoes.
If you are looking for a feel-good romance that will leave you wanting more, Then Came You is the right book for you. From the moment I started it, I didn’t want to put it down.
While I received an ARC for an honest review, I can tell you that II have added Marianne Rice to my list of favorite authors. I will definitely be reading more of her work.
I absolutely love a good Marianne Rice book, and this one does not disappoint! I immediately fell in love with the characters, the story is delightful and captivating, couldnt put it down! Warning book will cause time lapse, before you know it, it'll be 4am!
