What can I say but another excellent quality book in Julia Busch fashion. Even though I lived through the Kennedy years, read "Killing Kennedy" by Bill O'Reilly and watched the Kennedy docudrama series, I still learned more new facts about this inspiring man and his fascinating family.This is an outstanding portrayal of the life of JFK. It is a snapshot into a time in history that will always be captivating to future generations. If you are not familiar with this period of American history, you will be totally enthralled by the tale of this famous president. If you lived through these times as I did, this will bring you back to a time when America was a great and respected country.
The images are in comic book style. They are an excellent addition to the text and I can't image how many hours they took to complete. Once I started reading this, I felt compelled to continue until the end.
This is an excellent biography and I feel it would be excellent material for parents who homeschool. Highly recommended.

This book is another great vintage comic restoration from Julia Busch. I have several of Ms Busch's restorations and this one is just as professional as the others. I thoroughly enjoy the vintage comics. I am so glad that someone has taken the time to preserve these historic books so we can enjoy them today. The comic is filled with information about JFK and his family history. I highly recommend to everyone interested in historic comics.
This book begins with the first Kennedy who left Ireland and came to America fleeing from poverty. Instead of focusing on his tragic death and Lee Harvey Oswald, this book celebrates and honors the life of JFK. You'll learn about the President's childhood, his military service in the Pacific and how his maternal grandfather, Fitzgerald, helped influence JFK to follow a career in politics. A fully illustrated book. Suitable for all ages.
This book is about biography of JFK , by the look of the cover it may make you confuse but if you read the title carefully you will know that ti's a comic book, interesting right? They make the biography more live make the bore more fun by putting a good comic illustration on it and make the story more interested, This book maybe suit for parent who want their kids to know about JFK life or for someone who hate history but want to know more about JFK, because this book make history more fun.
These books that Julia puts together are just getting better and better. I found this story wonderful and I learned so much about John Kennedy that I didn't know. Those of us who are old enough to remember him will have a tear in our eye reading this. I would recommend that schools take this book and let the children read it. They would learn history in a way that is entertaining and fun and they would find out things about a former president that not many people know anymore. This is an outstanding job.

The life of JFK in comic format is extremely well done. I learned some things about JFK such as his early political career and why he ended up on the swim team instead of football. His swimming training was perfect for his career in the Navy later and it helped save comrades in arms later when PT109 was destroyed. The rest of JFK's Presidential career was bittersweet and brought back memories of where I was when I learned about his death. The author has done a wonderful job of cleaning up the original comic frames and formatting them to fit on the kindle format along with some new dialog. I recommend this historical figures comic as a good way for young readers to learn about one of the most famous of U.S. Presidents.
I love the way this book has been put together. The comic book like pictures and the flowing narrative beneath keeps the reader engaged, in fact enthralled. It is not book that is at all easy to put down. You are taken back into the Kennedy family past all the way from Patrick Kennedy and Ireland to his immigration to the United States. You get to follow the family's ever growing success from there to the second world war and beyond.
The Kennedy era through the 60's really is about what could have been and I believe what should have been. I enjoyed this book immensely and loved reliving a time full of so much hope and possibility, I highly recommend it to all. The author has put a real effort into this book and shows both in the high quality of her artwork and in her style of writing.
